Letter to the cosmos…
I haven’t been able to sit down and write since that night - you know why. After weeks of trying, this is all I have been able to put into words:
All I can do now is whisper your name into the stars, trying to feel you answering in the shimmers of distant galaxies. No longer bound to the earth, no longer held by time, yet I feel your presence orbiting me, bending through the fabric of the universe, holding and guiding me in my hardest moments, with every breath, quiet soul music between the waves of earth side life.
Thank you for loving me in the ways you knew how. That love helped shape me in ways I did not understand until now.
With love, I release you into the cosmic wind, knowing you are the brightest constellation in my heart, the cosmic glow that travels beyond the veil. And though I will always miss you here, I will still see you everywhere… reminding me that love is eternal, and you are always with me.
Until we meet in the light beyond light, I will carry you in every beat of my heart.
I will always love you too, Dad.
